Game Session Rules
Guidelines for creating a positive and inclusive gaming experience for everyone
Have Fun
The primary goal of any game session is for everyone to enjoy themselves. If something isn't fun, we'll work together to make it better.
See Rule One
When in doubt, refer back to rule #1. Fun is the foundation of everything we do at the table.
Speak Up
If something bothers you, makes you uncomfortable, or you have concerns, please speak up. We can't fix what we don't know about.
Respect Others' Boundaries
Everyone has different comfort levels. Respect when someone says no or expresses discomfort with content or situations.
Be Present
When we're playing, be engaged. Put away distractions and focus on the shared story we're creating together.
Share the Spotlight
Make sure everyone gets their moment to shine. Don't dominate conversations or decision-making.
Support Each Other
We're all on the same team, even when our characters disagree. Help other players succeed and have their moments.
Communicate Clearly
Be clear about your intentions, both in and out of character. Ask questions if you're unsure about something.
Embrace Failure
Failed rolls and setbacks create the best stories. Don't be afraid to fail spectacularly - it's often more fun than success.
Trust the Process
Trust your GM and fellow players. We're all working together to create an amazing shared experience.
Remember
These rules exist to ensure everyone has a great time. They're not meant to restrict creativity or fun, but to create a framework where everyone feels safe, included, and excited to participate. When everyone follows these guidelines, we create the best possible environment for epic adventures and memorable stories.
